Frost protection of the water pipes and drinking troughs with a circulation system

A circulation system (ZPS) is suitable for keeping the water pipes or the water circuit frost-free.
The water is pumped through the pipes, which must be laid as a ring line. Water that passes through the ZPS is heated to such an extent that a pipe length of up to 250 metres remains frost-free.
If the total pipe length is greater than 250 metres, several circulation systems can be installed in the water circuit.
The following schematic diagram shows a complete drinking system with circulation system.
1 – Shut-off valve | 2 – Water filter | 3 – Non-return valve |
4 – Pressure reducer | 5 – T-piece | 6 – Shut-off valve ZPS |
7 – Bypass line shut-off valve | 8 – Drain cock | 9 – Insulation |
10 – Vent valve | 11 – Overpressure safety valve | 12 – Pipe trace heating cable |
13 – Browsing protection | 14 – Drinking trough |
